The THRILLER star's lawyers have told judge Rodney Melville that Oxman's departure from the case was effective last Thursday (21APR05), but they have refused to explain his sudden exit.
Insiders have speculated Oxman left for health reasons, because he was stretchered away from the Santa Maria, California, court last month (25MAR05) suffering lung pneumonia.
The troubled superstar also lost attorneys MARK GERAGOS and BENJAMIN BRAFFMAN last April (04) and replaced them with THOMAS MESEREAU and Susan Yu. He lost longtime lawyer STEVE COCHRAN six months later (OCT04).
