Pop superstar Michael Jackson is battling to keep custody of his three children, after a lawyer launched a bid to take them into care.

Gloria Allred yesterday (24NOV03) filed a lawsuit calling for Prince MICHAEL, six, PARIS, five, and one-year-old PRINCE MICHAEL II to be taken into care - after Jackson was arrested and charged with molesting 12-year-old GAVIN ARVIZO last week (20NOV03).

Allred briefly represented 13-year-old JORDY CHANDLER's complaint against the singer in 1994 and has made several complaints to California authorities about the singer.

After filing the suit she said, "If he were not a celebrity I believe his children would already be in care. He needs investigation into whether he's a fit parent. He's a cause for concern."
