Actor Michael Douglas' incarcerated son Cameron has allegedly been shipped off to solitary confinement after failing his latest drug test.

Cameron Douglas is currently serving a 10-year sentence at a Loretto, Pennsylvania penitentiary for distributing drugs, possessing heroin, and also smuggling medication into his cell, and now he is facing new legal problems after a urinalysis confirmed the presence of banned substances in his system.

As a result, he was placed in isolation during the first week of January (13), as part of his punishment, according to the New York Post.

It is not yet known if the infraction will translate into more jail time.

This is the latest in a slew of problems for the Wall Street star's troubled son - he reportedly suffered a broken leg and finger in October (12) after being attacked behind bars for co-operating with authorities and testifying against his two drug suppliers. He is still recovering from his injuries.
