A concert by Metallica is to go ahead after the promoters resolved a dispute with authorities in Canada.
The Enter Sandman hitmakers are due to play a show in Halifax, Nova Scotia next month (Jul11) but the concert was under threat because a promoter reportedly owed money to local businesses from previous shows.
Officials in the region had threatened to withdraw their support for the event unless the outstanding bills were paid - but the dispute has now been settled, according to local newspaper The Chronicle Herald.
In a statement, a spokesman for Halifax Regional Municipality says, "In recent days, issues have been raised with respect to the provision of services associated with the concert. Any outstanding issues have been resolved. We look forward to residents and visitors enjoying a great time at a great concert in a great city."
