OUTKAST star ANDRE 3000 was named International Man Of The Year at last night's (07SEP04) GQ MEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS.

The ceremony, organised by the UK edition of the magazine, lauded the HEY YA! singer alongside a host of other stars at London's ROYAL OPERA HOUSE.

FRANZ FERDINAND - who also won the Mercury Music Prize yesterday (07SEP04) - took home the Band Of The Year award.

Jazz crooner Jamie Cullum won Solo Artist Of The Year, while stunning Heidi Klum was the only female to be honoured, bagging the Woman Of The Year award.

WIMBLEDON star Paul Bettany was named Actor Of The Year, while Ozzy OSBOURNE and George Michael received the Editor's Special Award and Lifetime Contribution Award respectively.

Among other celebrities in attendance were SIR Elton John, Clive Owen, Charlotte Church and Natasha Bedingfield.
