Melanie Griffith is terrified at the prospect of internet dating.

The 58-year-old actress has been single since her marriage to Antonio Banderas was officially ended last December and while she hasn't ruled out another relationship, she would rather find one using the old fashioned techniques.

When asked if she would do internet dating, Melanie replied: ''F**k no! Are you kidding? No. Good lord. That would be scary!

''Looking across a crowded room, right? Isn't that the thing I'm not really looking, I'm just being, and I figure if I'm meant to have another relationship, I will, and if I'm not, then I won't.''

The 'Working Girl' star - who has a 19-year-old daughter, Stella, with Antonio, as well as Alexander, 30, and Dakota, 27, from previous relationships - admits her life has changed a lot of the past few years and she's trying to embrace it.

She told People magazine: ''I'm having a very introspective time right now. It's an interesting time. It's just sort of nice. My kids are all great. They're beautiful people. I'm single, and lonely, and bored, and confused - but then at the same time, totally curious. It's almost like I have to throw myself out of the nest.

''Life is moving on. My youngest, Stella, is starting USC in August, in two weeks. She'll be moving out, out. She's got a dorm and everything. So that's kind of a different thing. I won't have any kids at home.''
