British singer Melanie Chisholm has put her musical skills to good use to help find a new girl band as part of a charity challenge for Britain's Comic Relief.
The former Spice Girls star joined her comedienne pal Miranda Hart in Birmingham, England on Wednesday (13Mar14) to assist in finding four would-be pop stars to form a makeshift band with the funnywoman as part of Miranda's Mad March week-long challenge.
The pair, alongside dancer Louie Spence, auditioned potential singers at the Birmingham Conservatoire and the chosen girls have just hours to prepare for a live show with Hart on the Bbc's The One Show on Wednesday evening.
Hart took to her Twitter.com page to tell fans of her anxiety over the charity project, writing, "Was briefly excited about forming an all girl band for Comic Relief until I remembered I'll have to be singing live on One show. Can't Sing."
