Mother-of-one Mel C won't have any more children ''for a couple of years'' because she wants to concentrate on her new album, 'The Sea'.
Mel C won't have more children "for a couple of years".
The 37-year-old singer and her partner Thomas Starr would love to have a sibling for their two-year-old daughter Scarlet, but the former Spice Girls star wants to focus on promoting her latest album 'The Sea' for the near future.
She said: "I'd love for Scarlet to have a sibling but it won't be for a while because I'm hoping this record will keep me busy for a couple of years."
In order to keep in touch with her family when she is away working, Mel relies on internet calling software Skype.
She said: "There have been times when I've been away for a week and it felt like an eternity.
"God bless the person who invented Skype. There's something wonderful about seeing Scarlet's cheeky face. It's not the same as having a cuddle but it gives me the fix to get through the day."
Mel and Thomas are happy in their relationship but she insists neither she nor the property developer have any desire to get married.
She told Britain's Hello! magazine: Honestly, we're not planning to get married. We've got a child and a home together, and for us right now, that's enough."
