Mel B's ex-husband claims their rows made him want to commit suicide.
The former Spice Girls singer split from Jimmy Gulzar in 2000 after just two years of marriage, and he admits the subsequent disputes they had over the custody of their daughter Phoenix, now 15, were so bad, he considered taking an overdose.
He told The Sun newspaper: ''There's been many a time when I thought, 'Nope, this is it, I'm giving up. I am gonna take this bunch of pills and goodbye people, because this is too heavy.''

''I am still waiting to throw that one rock that will get Goliath down.''
Following their divorce, Jimmy moved to America to be nearer his daughter as Mel's career took off over the pond.
But it wasn't easy for the family and Phoenix filed a battery report with police in 2011, after Jimmy refused to let her leave after his custodial time with her.
