MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine has axed the band's self-titled radio station - accusing bosses of failing to run the venture properly.
The singer teamed up with executives at media giant Clear Channel to set up Megadeth Radio in October last year (09), a station dedicated to the band and featuring their favourite music, as well as interviews, news and personal commentary.
But Mustaine has decided to scrap the station just six months after it hit the airwaves, because he is not happy with the way it is run.
He says, "I just got tired of the mediocrity from those guys (Clear Channel) not taking care of stuff. I can't program this thing by myself. So rather than deal with the bulls**t, we have decided to just walk away from it. Maybe a few months from now we'll find someone else that can do things better than how they did it. But for now I just want to tell you I've got a lot of stuff I'm working on.
"I appreciate all of your comments; it didn't fall on deaf ears with me, it fell on deaf ears after me."
