* LOHAN RELEASED FROM REHAB CENTRE EARLY LINDSAY LOHAN has been released from a rehabilitation centre after serving just 23 days of her court-ordered 90-day program. The Mean Girls actress was jailed last month (Jul10) for breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest. Upon her release, after just 13 days, she was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. But Lohan was discharged from the facility on Tuesday (24Aug10) and will now receive outpatient care, according to TMZ.com. Doctors at the centre reportedly told Judge Elden Fox, who is overseeing her case, that the star should be released from the hospital before the 90-day stint was completed. A court hearing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (25Aug10), but Lohan is not expected to be there. (KD/WNWCZM/KL) Los Angeles, California - 24.08.10" 2#122#

*file photo* * LOHAN WANTED FOR ARREST A warrant has been issued for LINDSAY LOHAN's arrest after she failed to attend a mandatory probation hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday morning (20May10). The Mean Girls star was ordered to appear before Judge Marsha Revel at Beverly Hills Courthouse amid reports she has failed to complete court-ordered alcohol education classes stemming from a 2007 arrest. But Lohan found herself stranded in Europe on Wednesday (19May10) after losing her passport following an ill-advised trip to France last week (ends14May10) to attend the Cannes Film Festival. She claimed her papers had been stolen and turned to U.S. Embassy officials for help, but they were only able to replace the documentation on Thursday - forcing Lohan to miss her court date. The probation hearing went ahead as planned on Thursday, when Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley attempted to explain the passport problem to Judge Revel as the reason for the actress' absence. But the judge refused to accept the excuse and she issued the arrest warrant within minutes of the hearing starting at 8.30am (local time), reports TMZ.com. Lohan's bail has been set at $100,000 (£66,670). The troubled star is reportedly due to fly back to the U.S. on Friday (21May10). She is expected to be taken into custody upon landing in America. * LOHAN'S ARREST WARRANT DROPPED LINDSAY LOHAN's arrest warrant has been dismissed by a California judge after she was determined to be in full compliance with the terms of her probation for driving under the influence (DUI). Los Angeles cops issued a $50,000 (£35,290) warrant for the Mean Girls star's arrest on Friday (13Mar09) in relation to her 2007 DUI conviction, which saw her sentenced to 24 hours in jail. Lohan was also ordered to perform 10 days of community service and enter an 18-month alcohol education programme. Her latest legal woe was sparked after a director of her alcohol education class told the court the actress had missed three sessions in a 21-day period, violating the terms of her three-year probation. The 22-year-old's lawyer Shawn Chapman blamed the warrant on a miscommunication, and at a brief hearing in Beverly Hills on Monday (16Mar09), Chapman explained Lohan had been in one programme but left that programme for another due to a personality conflict. The actress, who was arrested twice in 2007 on DUI charges, did not appear in court. The judge ordered Lohan to show new proof of enrollment in a programme by 3 April (09). *file photos* * FUR-LOVER LOHAN ATTACKED BY FLOUR THROWER IN PARIS LINDSAY LOHAN's trip to France turned sour early on Saturday morning (15Nov08) when she was showered with flour at a Paris club. An anti-fur activist covered the actress with flour as she was celebrating with friends on the famous Champs-Elysees. He yelled, Lindsay Lohan - fur hag! as the Mean Girls star stood fuming after the attack. A bystander says, Lindsay was mortified and then furious. She's in Paris supporting her girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson, and I think she was planning a flour-free weekend. It's believed the flour thrower was connected to animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), which has attacked Lohan in recent days for wearing fur coats. A statement from PETA reads, Lohan has enraged animal lovers by appearing in at least two different fur coats in recent days, despite PETA's repeated pleas that she consider how animals suffer for every fur garment and stop wearing their skins. She was named on PETA's annual Worst Dressed List earlier this year. Her love of fur hit the headlines in May (08), when she was accused of stealing an $11,000 (£7,300) fur coat from a New York club. PETA Europe's Robbie LeBlanc has applauded the flour attack on Lohan, stating, There is nothing remotely fashionable about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all. A spokesperson for Lohan was unavailable for comment.
