British pop sensation McFly are confirmed to be playing a free set at BT London Live's 'Super Saturday' (August 4th) in Hyde Park.
Mcfly, who rose to fame in 2004 with band heartthrobs Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd and released seven number ones including 'Five Colours in Her Hair', 'Obviously' and 'Star Girl', will be presented by Official London Radio Station 'Magic 105.4'.
There are heaps of other exciting live acts for BT London Live in addition to this lovable boyband. The cast from Queen musical 'We Will Rock You' will perform along with the legendary Tom Jones, Feeder, The Levellers, Amy Macdonald, Paul Carrack and Kenny Thomas. There will also be two special concerts to perform at the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. The Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert on Friday 27th July will introduce indie band Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, PAULO NUTINI and 80s knockouts Duran Duran. Headlining for the Closing Ceremony on Sunday 12th August are Blur along with New Order and The Specials.
Aside from the fantastic musical line-up, you will also have the opportunity to witness all the Olympic Sports and Medal Ceremonies of the day including the Women's Athletics 100m Final, Women's Triathlon Final, climax of Women's Heptathlon, Swimming and Rowing Finals; there is a total of 25 Medals to be awarded.
Access to the BT London Live is completely free but Guaranteed Entry tickets are available to buy (£3.50 for orders up to four tickets) and can be used before 2pm and are valid until 9am on the 'Super Saturday' and 11:30 on 7th August.
