Former rap star Mc Hammer is selling off his music publishing and copyright assets in a bid to raise some cash.

The U CAN'T TOUCH THIS hitmaker enjoyed huge success in the early 1990s, and even went on to release a clothing line, dolls and lunchboxes bearing his likeness and his own Saturday morning cartoon series.

But things changed significantly when he filed for bankruptcy in 1996, after squandering over $20 million (GBP11.1 million), reports AllHipHop.com.

Hammer, real name STANLEY BURRELL, is now an ordained church minister.
