Actor Matthew Broderick is set to return to Broadway for his first musical since he wowed critics with The Producers.
The song-and-dance man will reteam with The Producers director Kathleen Marshall for Nice Work if You Can Get It, which will open in New York next spring (12).
The musical features music from George and Ira Gershwin and is set in the 1920s.
Marshall says, "I am beyond thrilled to get to work with Matthew Broderick again and to bring Matthew back to Broadway in his first musical since The Producers. The chance to do a new musical comedy with timeless songs by the Gershwin brothers is just heavenly."
