Matt Le Blanc has jokingly told that he would consider a Friends reunion. When confronted by reporters as he got into a waiting car, he was asked the simple question "Friends reunion?" He laughed "I wish" and then added "I could use the money." The actor, who played the role of Joey in the long-running New York sitcom, was filmed as he left Craft restaurant in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Andrea Anders.
Friends was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman and ran on the NBC network from 1994 to 2004. The show was regularly broadcast across the globe and continues to be so, even since it ended over seven years ago. Among Matt's co-stars on Friends were Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry. As the show grew in popularity, they also had a number of high profile guest stars, such as George Clooney, Tom Selleck, Brooke Shields and Charlie Sheen.
At last weekend's Golden Globe awards, Matt Le Blanc won an award for Best Actor in a TV Musical or Comedy, for his role in Episodes, beating Alec Baldwin, David Duchovny, Thomas Jane and Johnny Galecki to the prize. The series was also nominated for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical but lost out to Modern Family. Episodes is created by the same writing team that created Friends but so far, no serious reports of an on-screen reunion for the Friends cast has been proposed.
