The 46-year-old actor starred as Linus Caldwell in 2001 movie Ocean's Eleven, a remake of the 1960 film, before reprising his role in 2004's Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007.

Now Matt has revealed he will be making an appearance in the new all-female reboot on the franchise, which will star Sarah Paulson, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and rapper/actress Awkwafina.

"I'm doing a little bit in the movie," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I haven't read it yet, but the cast is phenomenal and I'm excited to see what those women do with it. It's going to be fun."

It is unclear whether Matt will be playing Linus once again or taking on a different character for his appearance.

Mindy recently revealed plot details about the upcoming movie, which started shooting earlier this month (Nov16), telling late night chat show host Stephen Colbert that the film is "(set) in New York City and there’s a fashion element to it."

The original Ocean’s films tell the tale of a group of slick criminals who team up to perform an impressive heist.

Ocean's Eight will be directed by Gary Ross and produced by filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the Ocean's Trilogy which also starred George Clooney.

It remains to be seen whether Ocean's Eight will be the first in a series of films about the female team of heist merchants.
