The Martian star is reprising his role as Jason Bourne for a fourth time and he has teamed up with bosses at charity website Omaze.com to raise money for his Water.org foundation and create buzz for the new film.

During the pranks, an actor dropped a cell phone off to strangers and when they answered a call seconds later, the 45-year-old was on the other line. The strangers were not aware it was Matt and they were instructed to do things like pick up a package up from the undercover actor beside them or buy a hot dog.

"We set up a simulation to give unsuspecting people the chance to feel like they're in a spy movie," he says. "All they have to do is trust me."

Some of the people that answered the calls hung up immediately, but others followed along and were eventually led to a room where the actor was. They were then given passes to next month's (Jul16) premiere of the movie.
