Mary-Kate Olsen wants to ''marry and settle down quickly''.
The 27-year-old star sparked rumours she got engaged to her French beau Olivier Sarkozy last week, and the blonde beauty is reportedly eager to get hitched and set up a life together in the US.
A source told E! News: ''She's [Mary-Kate] always made it pretty clear that she wants to settle down as quickly as possible.''
However, the loved-up couple could be heading for a disagreement as Olivier - who has two children, Julien, 12, and Margot, 10, with his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard - wants to take things slowly.
The source explained: ''All we know is that Olivier will want a nice long engagement--he's been through a marriage already and had lovely kids, so he knows what it's all about.''
Meanwhile, the duo are yet to confirm the engagement rumours, but friends believe the French banker, who is the half-brother of the former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy, could have popped the question during a recent vacation to Jamaica
The insider said: ''If they are engaged, they haven't announced it to family and friends in France yet, but who knows.''
They added: It [the engagement] would have been during a recent holiday they spent in Jamaica.
Mary-Kate and Olivier first started dating in 2012 and currently live in New York where they have a $6.25 million townhouse.
