Soul singer Mary J Blige is convinced the success of her latest album The Breakthrough is down to the power of prayer and feeling happy with her life.

The NO MORE PAIN hitmaker, whose fan base held rapper and producer SEAN 'DIDDY' COMBS responsible for ruining her previous album LIFE AND LOVE, feels her efforts with the new record make up for her fans' disappointment with its predecessor.

She says, "My goal was to make my fans happy and I knew that Life And Love was something that disappointed them.

"None of us were in a good place. Too many cooks spoiled the soup.

"You had (Diddy) saying, 'Do this, do that,' and I wanted something else.

"I have to give the glory to God (for) giving me the strength and guidance to do this."
