Singer Mary J Blige insists she'd be a "fat, drug-addict hair stylist" if she hadn't made it in the music business. The NO MORE DRAMA star had a dead-end start to life in the rough housing estates of Yonkers, New York. And after ditching school and experimenting with drugs, the possibility of a glittering future seemed remote. She says, "I dropped out of high school, didn't have an education, so I wouldn't have had a reason to want better. "You might know we're not supposed to be living like this, but by the time you're a teenager, you're dreams are killed and you're depressed. "If God hadn't blessed me with a career, I'd be a fat, drug-addict hair stylist in the (housing) projects. That's the truth."
