It's been a busy old time for Marques Toliver. Following much acclaim for his debut album 'Land Of CanAan' Marques headed out on a tour throughout the UK forests with Paloma Faith and this weekend he will return to perform at Latitude Festival, but between all of this he has found the time to put together a new mixtape titled 'Studying For My PHD vol. II' which he is kindly offering for FREE via the link below.
"It feels like it has just been non stop since 'Land of CanAan' was released, over the past couple of months we've found ourselves playing in churches, clubs, house parties and even doing a tour of the UK forests alongside Paloma Faith. It's been a great experience, but it was good to have some time off and relax and it's given me a chance to finish my second mixtape, 'STUDYING FOR MY Ph.D Vol II', which you can download now.
We can't rest too long though so next up, the band and I are back at the Latitude Festival. I played there in 2011, it was an incredible experience and we met so many wonderful people so it's great to be invited back to play again. Then in September and October we'll be back on the road taking the 'Marques Toliver & The Sometimes - Land of CanAan Tour' all around Europe where I'm very happy to announce that we'll be supported by my good friend Gambles.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past few months and I look forward to seeing you at a show soon!"
Following his Latitude performance Marques Toliver will head out on a UK tour in October. Those dates below.

An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
