Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has vowed to never launch a "nerdy" solo career because he's too dedicated to his bandmates.
The singer has recorded with a number of music artists away from his work with the band, including Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Slash.
But Levine is adamant his side projects have not inspired him to quit Maroon 5 and go it alone - because his pals keep him grounded.
He tells People magazine, "Never. I don't want to be a solo artist - it's nerdy. Being in a band is so cool. I'm going to do my own things, but my anchor is Maroon 5."
