Marlon Brando's son CHRISTIAN and his ex-wife have settled duelling lawsuits alleging domestic violence, according to court papers filed yesterday (05FEB07). Christian's ex-wife DEBORAH filed a lawsuit in December 2005 alleging the 48-year-old repeatedly beat her and threatened to kill her in the presence of her daughter. Christian countersued in August (06), alleging his ex-wife broke into his home in December 2004 while he was asleep and beat him "savagely". His attorney declined to comment and the terms of the settlement are not known. Christian was charged in Jan 2005 with two counts of spousal abuse against Deborah. After pleading no contest, he was placed on probation for three years and ordered to attend a spousal abuse prevention programme and to attend drug and alcohol rehab. Christian pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 1990 to killing his sister CHEYENNE's boyfriend DAG DROLLET. He spent six years in prison for the crime.
