Marlon Brando's Polynesian island hideaway is to turned into a new eco-hotel by new owner RICHARD BAILEY.

Only the late actor's son TEIHOTU lives on the private island, Tetiaroa, but, according to Bailey, he's happy to make way for the new development.

Bailey says, "The hotel will showcase the latest in renewable energy technologies."

The developer claims Brando, who bought the island in 1965, had agreed to the idea before he died last year (04).
