Despite the pair having starred alongside each other in the first three series of 'The Only Way Is Essex', the 23-year-old nightclub owner admitted they "don't get along" and he has avoided seeing Mark's jungle antics on the show.
He told BANG! Showbiz: "I refuse to watch Mark in the jungle. We don't get along."
Kirk also insists 'TOWIE' - which the 24-year-old hunk quit to take part in 'I'm A Celeb' - can continue without its former leading man.
Speaking at InStyle magazine's 10th anniversary party at London's Sanctum Soho Hotel on Tuesday night (22.11.11), he added: "The show can move on without him, because you got people like me and Joey Essex on there. But if Mark wanted to leave, he has done it for the right reasons."
He told the 'Coronation Street' actor: "I've made an amazing friend and I'd like to continue on the outside. I was in a bad way and it was only you who got me through it. I look up to you so much.
"My mum said I would find it hard because I'm a young boy who has had people do things for me but straight away I saw something in you.
"It's not just a friend thing, I want to hang out when we get out. I feel safe, you are like my brother. I just feel safe around you, like I've known you for 24 years."
