Mark Wahlberg is to team up with Jonah Hill for new film 'Good Time Gang'.

The pair have signed up to play two party-loving mercenaries in the action comedy movie, which is being made by RCR Pictures.

The plot sees Wahlberg and Hill accept a task which involves them pursuing a dangerous terrorist only to discover one of them is related to the target they have been hired to kill.

The Script is being penned by Max Landis - the son of director-and-writer John Landis, whose films include 'An American Werewolf in London', 'Trading Places' and 'Beverly Hills Cop III' - and has been compared to the 'Lethal Weapon' films which starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as pair of police detectives.

It is not yet known when shooting is scheduled to start.

This won't be the first comedy action film Wahlberg has appeared in.

He previously starred opposite Will Ferrell in 'The Other Guys' in which they played a pair of mismatched cops who stumble onto a huge case.

Meanwhile, Hill is a comedy veteran starring in several hit movies, including 'Superbad', 'Get Him to the Greek' and 'Knocked Up'.
