Mark Ronson has decided to take a break from producing and is busy recording a new album.
Mark Ronson is back in the studio.
After spending the last three years producing songs for the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Cee-Lo Green, the British DJ is now working on his fourth album, the follow up to 2010's 'Record Collection'.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''I haven't put out new music for a couple of years but I've been in the studio making stuff. I try and change it up on every record so this one is different.
''It's gonna be good but I don't want to say 'It sounds like this' in case it changes and I get called up on it.''
The 'Stop Me' hitmaker teamed with radio host Zane Lowe at Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight over the weekend to perform as A-Yo!, and Mark found the collaborative effort more exciting than his usual solo ventures.
He added: ''I've been DJing by myself for so long it makes it more interesting when you don't know what's gonna happen. Keeps you on the seat of the pants, like jazz cats.''
Mark is one of a number of producers to team up with The Beatles legend Paul to work on his latest album, and produced his latest single, 'New'.
The 'Yellow Submarine' singer previously said: ''Originally I was just going to do maybe one song with each producer just to see who I got on with best, but I ended up getting on with them all and really liking the individual thing they brought to each song.''
