Producer and manager Dominique Trenier has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles.
The music executive, who formerly managed D’angelo, died on Friday morning (05Aug16).
He produced D’angelo's 2000 album Voodoo and Seal’s rendition of Steve Miller’s Fly Like an Eagle.
His production credits also include Mark Ronson’s Here Comes the Fuzz and Nikka Costa’s hit Everybody Got Their Something.
The Roots' Questlove remembered his friend in an Instagram post on Friday, writing: "Trenier. So Much Wisdom. So Little Time."
