Rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight was subjected to a torrent of abuse from fellow prison inmates just minutes before he was treated by medics ahead of a court hearing on Thursday (19Feb15).

The Death Row Records boss was examined by doctors after falling ill on arrival at a Los Angeles court for a hearing into robbery charges.

Now it has emerged the fallen hip-hop mogul had experienced a torrid journey from his jail cell when fellow inmates in his prison bus hurled abuse at him over allegations he killed a popular businessman in a hit-and-run last month (Jan15).

A source tells the New York Daily News, "Suge got on the bus from jail and people started taunting him, calling him names... The problem with Suge is he has claimed he was in a gang, which causes problems. And then the guy he allegedly killed was really popular in Compton. So he gets on the bus, and they're yelling at him, threatening him, calling him names."

Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run over the death of his pal Terry Carter on a movie set in Compton, California last month. Another man, actor Cle 'Bone' Sloan, was injured during the incident.

Knight's court hearing on Thursday was cancelled due to his health issues.
