Marie Osmond had to don the white silk taffeta dress she wore when she first wed Stephen Craig when the couple remarried on Wednesday (04May11) - because the gown she had custom-made for the nuptials failed to impress her.
Fans were amazed to hear the singer exchanged vows in the gown she wore in 1982 - but she reveals she hadn't planned for the dress to be her 'something old'.
She explains, "I had a dress all designed and when it showed up... I was so sad. I was in tears.
"I was cleaning out my garage and all of a sudden this box showed up in a pile of stuff... It was five days ago.
"I called Rhett Turner, who designed it for me 29 years ago, and he helped me pull it together."
