Margarita Levieva is in line to be a Bond girl.

The 31-year-old actress - who starred as Ashton Kutcher's love interest in 2009 film 'Spread' and alongside Matthew Mcconaughey in 'Lincoln Lawyer' - has caught the eye of producers who want her to play the lead female character opposite Daniel Craig, who is set to reprise his role as 007 in the 23rd James Bond film.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The perfect Bond girl is beautiful, confident but mysterious, and Margarita has all of those qualities.

"The Deal will need to be finalised sooner rather than later, because the schedule for production is supposed to get under way in around October this year."

The Russian beauty has been approached about her availability for the beginning of filming for the next instalment of the British spy franchise, which is set to begin in three months.

British actress Naomie Harris is set to star as Miss Moneypenny in the as-yet untitled movie - which is scheduled for release on October 26, 2012 - alongside Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, as well as Dame Judi Dench, who will reprise her role as secret service boss M.

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans - who appeared alongside Daniel in film 'Enduring Love', which featured the pair enjoying an onscreen kiss - is currently in discussions for a role in the forthcoming motion picture.
