THE Manic Street Preachers have revealed they are working on anew album which features lyrics written by missing member Richey Edwards.
Edwards has been missing since February 1st 1995, with many people suspecting he committed suicide after his car was found abandoned near the Seven Bridge two weeks later.
However, since then people have claimed sightings in various places such as Goa and the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
A statement on the band's website said all the songs on their ninth album feature lyrics "left to us by Richey".
"Musically, in many ways it feels like a follow up to The Holy Bible but there is also an acoustic side - tender, romantic, nihilism, Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky-esque," it read, adding that the record "celebrates the genius of his words".
The band said they are hoping to release the follow-up to their last album SEND IN THE TIGERS by next April or May.
