Outrageous McLaren, who managed the Sex Pistols in the 1970s, concocted a plan to break into London museum Madame Tussauds and burn effigies of John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Star and George Harrison.
He says, "We were following through on a lot of the principles laid down by 1968. The Sex Pistols would say, 'What is a song, Malcolm?' I would say, 'A f**king song is breaking into Madame Tussauds and burning down The Beatles, that's a song!' You can get a song like that, you're happening.
"But the girls weren't into it."
