Maisie Williams finds adult's opinions on young people ''degrading''.
The 'Game of Thrones' star has admitted she hates it when people think teenagers are ''f***ing stupid'' and believes it's hard being 17-years-old.
She said: ''People think we're f***ing stupid and we don't know anything about anything. It's really degrading.
''I get a lot of adults who are like, 'You don't know s**t,' and it's like, 'You don't know s**t. You have no idea what it's like to be 17 years old.'''
The teenage star also opened up about being a role model to other young people but has insisted she would hate to be known just for being ''pretty''.
The outspoken actress added: ''Whether I like it or not, I've become influential to people.
''I don't wanna be liked just because I'm pretty. That's f***ing boring, and I'm not that. Lots of young people in the industry try to play it cool, but it just makes them look like arrogant d*******s.
''I'd much rather be liked because people realise that I'm standing up for myself.''
Meanwhile, Maisie may have found herself a role model to Lupita Nyong'o, after the Oscar-winning actress told her how much she had learned from the young star.
Repeating what Lupita said, she told Dazed magazine: '''It sounds stupid, but I've learned so much from you.
''I watch 'Game of Thrones' all the time and honestly, being so new myself in the industry, I was just watching people who had done this same sort of thing.'''
It's time for a riot grrrl revolution.
