Actress Mae Whitman had to dress down for this year's (11) big Harry Potter premiere in London, so as not to upstage pal Emma Watson.
The Potter-obsessed Parenthood star was invited to the Trafalgar Square premiere by Watson, who befriended her on the set of new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower - and Whitman admits she desperately wanted to dress up for the big bash.
She says, "I stayed at my friend Emma's house (while I was filming in London)... and I got to go to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I'm the biggest, nerdiest Harry Potter fan ever. It took every last ounce of strength I had to not dress up; I didn't want to embarrass Emma."
