Madonna is being sued by a British video director for allegedly failing to pay expenses he incurred while shooting a TV concert special with the pop superstar last year (04).

HAMISH HAMILTON is demanding $175,000 (GBP92,100) from the singer.

In legal papers, obtained by US news show CELEBRITY JUSTICE, Hamilton claims Madonna orally agreed to pay him $175,000 to direct a two-hour TV concert programme for the superstar on her RE-INVENTION tour.

Hamilton maintains he then filmed a dress rehearsal in Manchester, England, and footage from the singer's show in London, before scouting locations in Portugal for a planned TV special that never happened.
