Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly renewed their wedding vows in a Kabbalah-based ceremony at their English estate.

The superstar couple exchanged rings and vows during the service at their Wiltshire home on 22 December (04) to mark their four-year wedding anniversary and to further pledge their allegiance to the Kabbalah, a mystical offshoot of Judaism.

SNATCH director Ritchie handed his MATERIAL GIRL wife a $190,000 (GBP100,000) Parisian ring, while Madonna offered her husband a glittering band she ordered six months ago, reports British newspaper The Sun.

Pals insist the couple have grown so close since marrying at Skibo Castle in the Highlands of northern Scotland on 22 December 2000, they wanted to kickstart the festive period by declaring their undying devotion to each other.

A source close to the couple says, "Madonna and Guy are closer now than ever before.

"They've been together a long time and felt the time was right to renew their wedding vows. Christmas is a special time for them because they originally tied the knot on December 22 four years ago.

"Guy bought Madonna the most amazing ring and she has been showing it off to everyone."
