Rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been crowned the kings of music-streaming service Spotify in 2013.

The Thrift Shop hitmakers are the most-streamed artists of the year and their single Can't Hold Us and album The Heist have topped their related categories.

Avicii's Wake Me Up has been named the second most-streamed song of the year globally, while MACklemore & Ryan Lewis' Thrift Shop is at three and Daft Punk's Get Lucky is fourth.

Thrift Shop has also been named the most streamed song of the last five years.

Behind MACklemore & Ryan Lewis in the top artists list is Avicii, Daft Punk, Eminem and Imagine Dragons.

Calvin Harris' 18 Months trails The Heist among the most-streamed Spotify albums, while Night Visions by Imagine Dragons, The Truth About Love by Pink and Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox round out the top five.
