Rappers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have pulled a double across the Atlantic after topping the U.S. and U.K. singles charts with their hit song Thrift Shop.

The duo has managed to hold on to number one on America's Billboard Hot 100 countdown for the third consecutive week while also dominating the British charts with their catchy tune.

Disclosure and AlunaGeorge's collaboration, White Noise, takes second place, while former number one Get Up (Rattle) by Dutch dance stars Bingo Players is at three.

In the U.K. albums chart, the soundtrack to hit movie musical Les Miserables reclaimed the top spot after dethroning Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro. Their Opposites slips to three, behind Jake Bugg's self-titled debut at two.
