Macaulay Culkin's pizza-themed The Velvet Underground tribute band has been honoured with a meal named after them at an American restaurant chain.

The Pizza Underground, fronted by the Home Alone star, play parody covers of the iconic band's classic hits such as I'm Waiting For Delivery Man and All The Pizza Parties.

Bosses at American pizza chain Two Boots have now created a special snack to mark the release of the band's EP Num, Num, Num, Have A Bite Of Crust on Tuesday (08Apr14).

The Pizza Underground, which will be on sale at all Two Boots restaurants for a week, features toppings including kale pesto - in honour of The Velvet Underground star John Cale - and onions and garlic, which grow underground.
