Lupita Nyong'o has shown her support for Prada.

The '12 Years A Slave' star showed her allegiance to the Italian fashion house by posing in a t-shirt emblazoned with the words 'Miuccia 49', in a tasteful nod to Prada's creative director.

Lupita's stylist Micaela Erlanger posted a cute picture to Instagram captioned ''Prada Cheerleaders!'', which showed her and the Academy Award-winning actress sitting first class on a flight to Paris wearing matching tops.

The display of gratitude comes after Micaela's decision to dress Lupita in a custom pastel blue Prada gown for the Oscars on Sunday (02.03.14), where the 31-year-old breakout star picked up an award for Best Supporting Actress.

Speaking about the fitting process she told E! News: ''Last night's look was a collaboration, and our main goal was to create a look completely representative of Lupita. The custom Prada gown, accented by gold Fred Leighton jewellery and diamond headband all came together beautifully.''

Micaela has helped Lupita top numerous Best Dressed lists throughout the awards season, notably gaining the young actress praise for the caped red Ralph Lauren dress she wore to the Golden Globes in January.

However the stylist admits there was pressure to deliver with Lupita's Oscar number, explaining: ''This was the moment we've been working towards all award season and I think we nailed it.''
