Rapidly establishing herself as one of the leading sounds to emerge in 2013, Lulu James has announced a brand new single, 'Sweetest Thing', to be released on RCA on November 3rd.
Previous singles include 'Be Safe' (Black Butter) late last year, 'Closer' (RCA) in the spring and 'Step By Step' (RCA) more recently have allowed Lulu to grow and establish her unique soulful sound. These, along with a steady run of headline shows, support slots and festival appearances has led to critical praise as well as an ever-increasing fan base.
Lulu was booked for 'Later with Jools.' for the pre-summer series where she performed the stunningly catchy 'Sweetest Thing'. This is Lulu's most pop-sounding single to date but loses nothing of her signature sound - tracing an arc between dance, soul, R&B and pop to create something truly brilliant. Remixes of the single will come from Laconic, Sweater Beats, Armeria and Jezus Million.
In addition to this release you can hear lulu vocal the new Gang Colours single as well as a brand new track of hers 'Can't Stop' appearing in the forthcoming Annie Mac Presents compilation.
This summer Lulu has hit the festival scene pretty hard - wowing crowds with her unique and distinctive style of stage get-up and playing packed out sets across the UK and Europe. This autumn she heads out on tour to support Ellie Goulding and will play some of the UK's biggest and most prominent venues. Following that, she joins the 'Annie Mac Presents' tour in November.
