The hotly-tipped Luke Sital-Singh is currently on the road on Communion's New Faces Tour' alongside Eliza and The Bear, Farewell J.R and Annie Eve. He will follow the tour with the release of the new single 'Greatest Lovers' in April which is available to Pre-Order now.
The song was premiered on 6Music by Lauren Laverne and the accompanying video, a bittersweet Bonnie & Clyde love story,
Produced by Iain Archer (Jake Bugg), 'Greatest Lovers' builds from its hushed introduction into a crescendo of sound as a soaring, emotive hook takes flight. Luke demonstrates a different side to his sound with the single's b-side 'You Have To'. Stripped back to a more intimate style of production, the song is an intimate ballad which demonstrates his ability to craft slow-burning torch songs as well as strident, radio-friendly anthems.
As with recent tracks 'Nothing Stays The Same' and 'Bottled Up Tight', 'Greatest Lovers' affirms exactly why Luke Sital-Singh has been feted as one of 2014's most vital new talents. Recent praise has included BBC Sound of 2014 poll,iTunes' New Artists for 2014, the Spotify Spotlight for 2014, XFM's Great X-pectations, Amazon's Emerging Artists for2014 and HMV's Tips for 2014 as well as radio support courtesy of Radio 1, 6Music, XFM, Radio 2, Absolute andAmazing Radio.
Whilst continuing on the Communion's 'New Faces', Luke also found time to perform the main stage on the opening night of the inaugural 6 Music Festival held at Manchester's Victoria Warehouse last week. Luke will be hosting his own headline show at new live venue Oslo in Hackney, London on 14th April. Tickets are priced at £10
Luke is busy putting the finishing touches on his upcoming debut album which will be released by Parlophone early Summer.
