Latino heartthrob Luis Miguel had an unpleasant surprise backstage at a gig in Bakersfield, California on Sunday night (22Sep13) when a process server handed him legal papers in a child support case.
The singer was just about to hit the stage when the server appeared and tried to give Miguel the papers.
After establishing the star was still in his limousine, the man slapped the papers on the vehicle's windscreen and left the scene, reports Tmz.com.
Luis' ex-lover, actress Aracely Arambula, is suing him for unpaid child support for their two children.
Under California law, service on a windshield is valid if the subject is inside the vehicle and the process server announces what he's doing.
