Legendary comedienne Lucille Ball has been voted America's most beloved dead star, according to a new poll.
More than 16 years after her death, the I LOVE LUCY star, who would have turned 94 on 6 August (05), is as popular as ever with US residents.
Bob Hope, John Wayne, JIMMY STEWART and Red Skelton follow Ball on the Marketing Evaluations list, with the Top 10 rounded out by Johnny Carson, John Ritter, Jackie Gleason, CHARLES SCHULZ and MICHAEL LANDON.
Out of 169 personalities tested, diet doctor ROBERT ATKINS had the lowest score.
In the last few surveys, which are conducted nationwide via mail questionnaire, Tom Hanks proved to be the most popular living star.
