Louise Roe says less is more when it comes to vintage fashion.
The 'Fashion Star' presenter styled the 'Teen Beach Movie' 60's fashion inspired photo shoot, featuring the film's stars Garrett Clayton and Maia Mitchell and Louise believes the style from the movie can be easily incorporated into modern looks.
She advised: ''Don't wear a vintage look head to toe. Maximum two or three retro pieces per outfit, and mix them in with your modern skinny jeans or sandals.
I think everyone should have cat eye sunglasses, in white and printed - such as polka dot- scarves worn tight around the neck are very elegant. And they're such an easy, affordable way to make your look super 60's.''
Louise loved putting together the fashion shoot for the movie and revealed she gets inspiration from all areas of life.
She said: ''You can find inspiration anywhere....flea markets, online, your Mom and Dad's closet!
''Icons like Edie Sedgwick and Marilyn Monroe, movies like 'Grease' and current fashion blogs - retro 60's looks are all over the runways and sidewalks at the moment.
''And don't forget about beauty trends of that era too, search on Instagram for inspiration and perhaps try a rolled quiff in your hair, a red lip, and a thin black liquid eyeliner cat-flick.''
'Teen Beach Movie' will premiere on Disney Channel US and UK and on Family Channel Canada on Friday July 19 (8pm, ET/PT). The soundtrack is out now and the DVD is released on August 19.
