Veteran actor Louis Gossett Jr. claims his signature has been forged to pay for a pair $37,000 (GBP19,000) Los Angeles Lakers basketball tickets.
The AN OFFICE AND A GENTLEMAN star insists he was offered the premium seats at the Staple Center but never took the tickets nor agreed to pay for them.
Gossett Jr alleges the signature on the seats contract is a fake, reports TMZ.com.
The Oscar winner claims he hasn't been served with a lawsuit from L.A. Arena Funding over non-payment of the tickets and first heard of their reported legal action in the media.
A Los Angeles Lakers spokesperson tells TMZ.com that Gossett Jr, a team supported for 20 years, is not in any arrears with his ticket payments.
