Veteran singer Lou Reed has become the latest celebrity to launch his own collection of "serious" headphones for die-hard fans.
The Perfect Day star has teamed up with Klipsch engineers to create a special autographed version of the firm's X10i line, costing $400 (£250) each. The first 50 pairs will also come with a signed album by Reed.
He says, "I have been a fan of Klipsch for eons. I enjoy the beauty of the unhyped bass - the clarity and depth of detail and extraordinary comfort of the headphones. These are my Klipsch. Serious headphones for the serious listener."
Reed joins the likes of rap legend Dr. Dre, pop superstar Lady Gaga and hip-hop mogul Jay Z to launch his own line of audio equipment.
