Lost In Translation and American Splendor have won the top screenwriting
honours at the 56th annual WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA AWARDS.
Writer and director SOPHIA COPPOLA's Lost In Translation - which stars
Bill Murray and SCARLETT JOHANSSON - was voted Best Original Screenplay at
yesterday's (21FEB04) ceremony in Los Angeles.
Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman took home the Best Adapted
Screenplay award for comic book adaptation American Splendor.
