Cambridge five piece Lonely The Brave have announced the release of the Backroads EP, which will be available on Hassle Records on October 7th, a week before the band are due to play their first ever London headline show at The Lexington on October 15th. The release will be available on CD, digital and vinyl formats.
Prior to that, this weekend will see them take to the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading And Leeds Festivals. Having already played this year's Download Festival and Hard Rock Calling with Bruce Springsteen, the band have another chance to convert the masses to their infectiously powerful brand of uplifting rock. Shortly after that, on August 27th, the band hit the road with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club for a string of UK shows before heading over to Paris for a support slot with alt-metal veterans Deftones.
These incredible opportunities only seem to be more frequent as Lonely The Brave continue to grow and turn heads from all corners of the music industry. The response to first single 'Black Saucers' was overwhelming and support continues to come from BBC Radio 1's Dan P Carter, Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and Alice Levine. Elsewhere on the airwaves, Team Rock Radio have backed the band since the station's birth immediately after Download Festival and Kerrang Radio have shown their support too.
